This Privacy Policy explains how Rethread (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rethread mobile application and related services (the “Service”).
Rethread is a subscription app for capturing and organizing personal context (notes, threads, people, tasks, and reminders). We are local-first: most data stays on your device unless you turn on cloud backup or use features that require network access.
When you sign in with Google, we receive information from Firebase Authentication, such as:

You can delete local data in the app. Account deletion removes cloud data tied to your Firebase user as described in the app.

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and App Check. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it.
Your data may be processed in countries where our providers operate (including the United States). We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated in the app.
